A situation comedy portraying the frenetic everyday life of Kate (Caroline Quentin), a woman counselor who not only must deal with the various problems of her clients but also the permanently depressed state of her business partner Douglas (Chris Langham), the unrequited romantic attention of her travel agent neighbor Craig ('Darren Boyd' ) and the love-sick Italian Tony (Cliff Parisi), owner of the local wine bar.
