Complete Series 3 and 4 of the comedy sitcom written by Richard Ommanney about a married couple and their parents starring
Michael Elphick, Angela Thorne, Ray Burdis and Lysette Anthony.
Angie (Lysette Anthony) and Nick Tyler (Ray Burdis) decide that being just a couple is not enough, so decide to have a baby. However, they soon realise that love isn't all you need, and find being a family is more expensive than they thought. They decide to rent out their basement to make ends meet and to pay the bills.
Nick's father Sam Tyler (Michael Elphick), a stubborn cockney taxidermist and Angie's mum Daphne (Angela Thorne), a posh Cheltenham woman both want the flat, two very differnt charactersfrom different classes of society.
The only solution is to share but they are far from the ideal housemates, in fact they are poles apart.
However, with some reluctance the widowed parents both move in with often humourous results. Despite the clashes between personalities etcetera, Sam begins to look at Daphne in a different light, but does she reciprocate the feelings.
