Jim London (Jim Davidson) is a down-to-earth, working class cockney lad. He inds a job as a chauffeur for businessman Robert Palmer (George Sewell), who has had his driving licence revoked. Henry (Harry Towb), Palmer's snooty butler, doesn't approve of Jim initially but gradually comes to accept him as a reliable member of staff. Jim spends most of his time driving Palmer and his daughter Sarah (Vanessa Knox-Mawer) about. He also proves to be very helpful to Palmer when his business hits a bad patch.
